Karen is a painter, printmaker and papermaker who lives and works in New York City. She is represented by Sears Peyton gallery, in New York, Kaller Fine Art, in Washington D.C., and Weber Fine Art, in Greenwich, CT. She has completed residencies at Pyramid Atlantic, Henry Street Settlement, and the Women’s Studio Workshop, where she has recently become a board member. Karen received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute School of Art. Her work is featured in the art of encaustic painting: contemporary expression in the ancient medium of pigmented wax, by Joanne Mattera, and it is in numerous public and private collections.
